Question 1

What are the winning patterns in Plant Bingo?

Accepted Answer

Plant Bingo features four standard winning configurations: 1-Line (any 5 marked spots in a horizontal row, vertical column, or diagonal line), Four Corners (daubing all 4 outermost corners of the 5x5 card), 2-Lines (completing two distinct lines across the board), and Blackout (daubing all 25 spaces on the card for a total blackout victory).

Question 2

Is Plant Bingo free to play online?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Plant Bingo is 100% free with zero sign-up or authentication required. You can generate randomized 5x5 cards, mark species online, switch between botanical themes, and run host caller games instantly as a guest.

Question 3

How does the Solo Auto-Caller work?

Accepted Answer

Solo Mode lets casual players play immediately without a host. Hit "Start Solo Game" or "Auto-Call" to have species called automatically at 5s, 8s, or 12s intervals, complete with real plant photography, Web Speech voice announcements, and animated daubing.

Question 4

How does the Multi-Screen Host Caller Mode work?

Accepted Answer

Clicking "Open Host Caller" spawns the standalone Master Caller in a separate popup window or opens /plantbingo/caller. Using the BroadcastChannel API and localStorage sync, calls triggered in the caller window automatically reflect on any open player tab in real time.
